Our first venture in Toronto, Mother Tongue opened its doors in 2018 with Chef Francis Bermejo’s casual Asian sharing menu. Taking influence from his upbringing in the Philippines and Toronto’s Chinatown, Chef Bermejo’s philosophy is as easy as it is straightforward – use the best local ingredients as simply as possible and serve them with flourish and joy. It’s all about making the food we love to eat and sharing it with the people we love to be around!
