Established in 2007, Turner Hospitality Group began with a passion for great food, craft beverages and above all else – warm hospitality.

In 2007, wanting to move out of the city and pursue other interests, Bruce and Renee opened the first restaurant, Twist, in the Blue Mountain Village, marking the beginning of the family hospitality business.

Co-Founder & President 

As President of Turner Hospitality Group, Bruce provides leadership to our team of over 150 in 7 locations and is now leading the charge for an ambitious growth plan for our next generation of leaders.  Prior to this, Bruce was Co-Founder and President of a digital marketing agency in Toronto that was successfully listed on a US stock exchange. After selling his interest in 2005, Bruce used this experience to liaison with companies seeking stock exchange listings, advising on fundraising, strategic planning, financial restructuring, legal coordination, and collaboration with government agencies.

Co-Founder & Wine Director

In her role as Wine Director, Renee assumes the crucial responsibility of managing all facets of our wine programming. With her extensive expertise and profound knowledge of wines, she plays a pivotal role in enhancing the exceptional experience we provide to our valued guests. Beyond her role as Wine Director, Renee also serves as a mentor to our current leaders and emerging talents. With over 35 years experience in the industry to share, her guidance and support are instrumental in shaping their professional journeys and propelling them towards success. Renee’s leadership and inspirational presence make her an indispensable part of our team, motivating and empowering those around her.
